Happy Independence Day, everyone! Ruby® Receptionists will be closed Monday, July 4th, in observance of the holiday, and all calls will be answered according to your afterhours instructions.
Since many like to celebrate this happy occasion with a picnic or barbeque, I thought I’d ask our virtual receptionist team to share their favorite picnic fare. As always, they had some great ideas! Here are a few that are sure to make any picnic a blast:
Jennifer S.: The last picnic we went on, we made my boyfriend’s grandpa’s pasta salad. It’s pesto, pasta, Spanish olives, Kalamata olives, salami, parmesan, and a little bit of red onions. So good!
Ang Gray: I make a cheese log served with crackers. It’s cream cheese and powdered ranch dip blended together, shaped into a log, and rolled in seasoned pepper. Super easy and always impresses!
Stephanie S.: I’m making watermelon cookies for my family’s picnic!
Holly T.: I have two! Ice cream jello (you can find a similar recipe here), and my aunt’s caramel apple dip. It’s just cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla, but it’s always a hit!
Janel Hodge: I like to bring a baguette, brie, and some cold cuts. Piecing things together is my favorite part of a picnic.
Sarah Sackett: I like to make quinoa salad with black beans or roasted tomatillo salsa. Oh! Or also a squash & zucchini lattice tart!
Whether you’re having a picnic, watching fireworks, or relaxing at home, our virtual receptionists wish you a lovely, safe holiday weekend!
