Women + Tech Third Annual Summer Soiree
PDX Women in Tech is partnering with Women Who Code, Lesbians Who Tech, ChickTech, and Girls Inc. for their annual Summer Soiree on August 17th!
This year’s event is focused on inclusion and how we can change the Portland tech culture to be more open and welcoming. A mix of networking, speaking, and having a great time, this soiree will begin with the question “which label is the least helpful in tech?”
Ruby’s very own Katharine Nester, Chief Product and Technology Officer, is going to be a panelist at the event, participating in the discussion. We hope to see you there!
It’s no accident Katharine found her way to Ruby. Her career has focused on working for companies that value and support human connections, including roles in product management at Ancestry.com and AAA. Her desire to restore the human connection in our increasingly technological world comes with a top-notch pedigree, including a degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley and an MBA from Oxford University. She brings the perfect combination of passion and experience to lead the evolution of Ruby’s product and service.
