Each Ruby receptionist is bright, articulate, and friendly and will deftly field your calls with charm and grace. Here are just a few of the virtual receptionists who are looking forward to getting to know you and your business!

Meet Pat S
Pat knows Oregon. She was born in LaGrande in Eastern Oregon, was raised in Bend in Central Oregon, and lived in the Willamette Valley for the past several years. Pat recently moved from Eugene to Portland to be close to her two sons and their families, and we’re so glad she did. Ruby wouldn’t be the same without her! She spends as much time as possible with her family, and loves playing an integral role in her granddaughter’s life. Pat also likes crafts, gardening, and flowers. She’s a florist, in fact, and recently showed her skills by arranging the flowers for her son’s wedding. Pat says she was destined to be a Ruby—Ruby was her grandmother’s name, and she shares a birthday with Ruby President Jill Nelson’s son. Pat, we are lucky to have you! You truly are a Ruby natural.
Meet Ellie B
Ellie joins the Ruby team from Washougal, Washington. She loves books, and is an aspiring writer. Ellie says that one day, she wants to write a novel that inspires, lifts people’s spirits, and makes them feel emotions they didn’t know they had. Wow! Ellie enjoys celebrating the simple joys in life, like spending time with her twin kittens, Gemini and Joon.

Meet Brooke R
Brooke comes to Ruby from Washougal, Washington. This Northwest native feels at home in the great outdoors, and loves fishing, hiking, and just plain being outside. Brooke appreciates life’s little details. Her favorite things include good food, cool cars, and leading a happy, healthy life with her dogs. That sounds pretty great to us! This Ruby’s upbeat, optimistic attitude is clear in every call she answers. If you’ve had the pleasure of chatting with Brooke, you know how uplifting a positive outlook like hers can be!
Meet Stephanie C
Stephanie recently moved to Portland from Queens, New York, where she was born and raised. She’d like to go to graduate school for a master’s in elementary education, and says, “I really enjoy spending time with and teaching young children—that’s why I have worked as a day camp coordinator and preschool teacher.” Stephanie is also interested in volunteering with a domestic violence shelter. She enjoys bicycling around town, hiking, photography, and cooking killer dinners and delicious desserts. Here’s a great quote from Stephanie: “I always like to focus on the positive, even when it isn’t apparent that there is a positive.” As her fellow Rubys know, Stephanie’s upbeat outlook is a great gift to our team.

Meet Sara Lee B
Despite its perennial popularity, the world of macaroni art has been long in its search for a true rising star. Ladies and gentlemen, that search is over. Armed with paint, glitter, and humble little noodles, Sara Lee creates art that is truly fascinating. A pink pasta phone? Check. A light-up macaroni movie theatre? Done. A noodle-based road rage diorama? She’s working on it. This gal is a Ruby®, through and through; she’s sweet, she’s smart, and she’s got a sense of humor that can brighten the foggiest of Portland days. It’s true what they say: Nobody doesn’t like Sara Lee!
