Ruby_® Receptionists has been named one of Oregon Business magazine’s “100 Best Green Companies to Work For in Oregon” for the second consecutive year! Last year we were proud to make it to #19 on the list. Being sustainable is an important part of the Ruby culture, and we’re thankful to our virtual receptionists and staff for jumping in with both feet. Whether they’re printing double-sided, making DIY notepads, or volunteering on Ruby’s Green Team, we appreciate their hard work in keeping Ruby green! We look forward to learning where we rank this year at the “100 Best Green Companies” luncheon in May!

Oregon Business magazine announced last night that Ruby won #2 “Best Company to Work for in Oregon!” Almost 40 virtual receptionists and other staff members attended the event and used their normally soft, pleasant phone voices to cheer resoundingly when our name was called. Our second year making the list, this award is particularly meaningful to us because it’s based on surveys by employees themselves. We’d like to thank all of our employees for taking our Core Values to heart and making Ruby such a wonderful community! Special thanks also go out to the amazing clients we answer phones for — it’s a joy to be able to help so many businesses every day!

Ruby_® Receptionists is partnering with software providers Interactive Intelligence and KRP Communications Inc. to develop a new software platform to support its team of virtual receptionists. This new software will allow for many additional features that will further customize our friendly, professional service to meet each client’s unique needs. Our steadfast belief in innovation and wow-ing every client sets Ruby apart from your average answering service, and we’re excited to see how KRP and Interactive Intelligence’s cutting-edge new software will enhance the personal way we answer phones. We’re delighted to announce that Ruby_® Receptionists is one of Oregon Business magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” for 2011. This is the second year in a row that we have made the list. Nearly 14,000 employees from a variety of businesses — including our virtual receptionists – voted to select which were the best places to work. We are thrilled to announce that mid-2011 Ruby_® will be moving into a new space! Founder/CEO Jill Nelson signed the lease on a larger space a few short blocks from our current studio. We’d like to thank our clients for supporting us as we continue to grow, and we look forward to adding many more friendly, professional virtual receptionists to the Ruby phone answering team! From this new venue we’ll be able to help even more businesses and continue to provide the exceptional level of service our clients rave about. Ruby has grown by a considerable 48% over the last 3 years, earning us the #45 spot on the Portland Business Journal’s “100 Fastest Growing Private Companies” list!  The announcement was made at the awards reception last night, to some wild cheering from 30+ Ruby’s (well over half the company).

The Portland Business Journal has chosen Ruby as one of its “100 Fastest Growing Companies in Oregon” for the third consecutive year!  This list is based on revenue and employee growth over a period of three years and includes companies from diverse fields.  A number of Rubys are planning to attend the celebratory event on June 24^th to see where we rank, and we’ll keep you posted on how we do!
