Ruby has grown by a considerable 48% over the last 3 years, earning us the #45 spot on the Portland Business Journal’s “100 Fastest Growing Private Companies” list!  The announcement was made at the awards reception last night, to some wild cheering from 30+ Ruby’s (well over half the company).  (View the PDF)

The Portland Business Journal has chosen Ruby as one of its “100 Fastest Growing Companies in Oregon” for the third consecutive year!  This list is based on revenue and employee growth over a period of three years and includes companies from diverse fields.  A number of Rubys are planning to attend the celebratory event on June 24^th to see where we rank, and we’ll keep you posted on how we do!

Ruby Receptionists ranked #19 on the 2010 list of Oregon’s Best Green Companies to Work For, and was honored at a luncheon today by the Oregon Business Magazine.  This is a testament to the management at Ruby (for selecting wind power for the office and setting the copy machine to copy two-sided by default) but even more so to the incredible staff at Ruby for organizing green activities (like our notepad making party), jumping in with both feet on our no-waste lunch initiative, and loading their own dishes into the dishwasher to make it feasible not to use disposable stuff!

Portland’s local NBC Affiliate (KGW) news show covered Ruby_® and two other Portland businesses owned by women in EO, Entrepreneur’s Organization. All three of the businesses are considered Risk Takers – featured because of their ability to grow despite a down economy.

We have just learned that we made the 2010 list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For in Oregon.
